                Objective

Novel design of the air centrifugal compressor rotors  

Novel coating applied to air centrifugal compressor rotors  aiming to extending their useful life

 

Specific objectives for INOE 2000:

v  Novel coating applied to air centrifugal compressor rotors  (5 typo-dimensions) aiming to extend their time-life

Results:

  1. 3 types of multilayers: 

-          M3: TiC /  TiC0.5N0.5 / TiN;

-          M5: TiC / TiC0.7N0.3 / TiC0.5N0.5 / TiC0.3N0.7 / TiN;

-          M9: TiC / TiC0.7N0.3 / TiC0.5N0.5 / TiC0.3N0.7 / TiC0.5N0.5 / TiC0.7N0.3 / TiC0.5N0.5 / TiC0.3N0.7 / TiN
